MacFuse + sshfs + Leopard issue? #275

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed MacFuse, Installed sshfs
2. Mounted a drive
3. Tried to copy a local file to the sshfs drive

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected the file to be copied.
Instead I received the following error:
"The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in <filename>"
could not be read or written
(Error code -36)"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS X 10.5 Leopard
MacFUSE-Core-0.4.0
sshfs-0.3.0

Please provide any additional information below.
I've verified this with several servers. This is not a user rights problem
on the server side atleast. I've successfully copied the files over using
sftp.

I'm a huge fan of this feature, I'll be more than glad to supply you with
additional information if needed.

Can you like, hold on? :)

MacFUSE 0.4 is Tiger only. sshfs-0.3.0 is Tiger only.

I haven't yet released the next version of MacFUSE. I'm trying to make the
release as we speak. Patience.

That what I assumed so I browsed around for a while and found some nightly
builds
of the latest MacFuse version and now it works like a charm :)
