Installation of MacFuse and NTFS-3G breaks Spotlight on 10.5.1 #315

Leopard
Bootcamp and VMWare Fusion (latest)
MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install MacFuse 1.3.1
2. Install NTFS-3G 1.1120 (by catacombae)
3. Restart
4. Start VMWare Fusion and Bootcamp partition. Use Windows XP (NTFS) and
hibernate.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. Once installed, Bootcamp partition disappears after first use. Does not
reappear until NTFS-3G and MacFuse removed (using scripts provided with
packages).
2. Spotlight then stops indexing Macintosh HD. Still indexes removable drives.
3. Unknown error occurs when trying to but Home folder in Privacy list of
Spotlight preferences.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

You should ask this on the ntfs-3g support forums. MacFUSE itself doesn't, and
can't affect this sort of stuff.
Remember, MacFUSE is like a programming library. By itself, it won't do
anything--people write programs atop it
that do things.
