Layout-Editor: Add custom Side-Tabs #472

It would be great if it was possible to add custom Menu-items in the left Sidepanel.

Just as an example, being in the Layout-editor- I would like to create a Menu-item "Tools" (and assign a icon) and then simply drag the GCode-viewer panel into it, so it is not in the Dashboard anymore.

Why would I want to do that? Because the Dashboard gets cluttered with a bunch of information if many panels are enabled in the layout. Yes, it's great to have all the panels that are available, but having to see them all the time becomes kind of a distraction.

@hannpet this is something we looked at a long while back, we put it on hold for the difficulty it would be to implement.

having the user add sidebar items is a killer idea though, thanks for the suggestion. I will take this to the team to discuss feasibility, and let you know
