If the rider stops pedalling the speedResistancePowerMapper for the Bushido will set the resistance to something very low. However, as the feedback to the brake is slow the resistance should be set to something appropriate for the terrain before hand. This is complicated by the fact that Bushido will turn off and have a period with low resistance before resuming. Therefore it's perhaps not worth worrying about; but it could be useful to use a predicted speed for other trainers which don't have a lag when resuming pedalling.
