Rationale

No one wants to get their new £700 smartphone sweaty, why not use a button less interface?

Selecting a menu item

scroll to the desired item by cycling above 10 km/h to rotate the selection wheel

Another similar idea for people using constant power mode: Use gear changes to control the interface. The rider keeps constant power (or enters constant power mode momentarily) and the changes in wheel rpm, or resistance are used to detect shifts and drive the menu. We can call this no-slacking mode.
