EFB App for mobile devices #4213

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It can sometimes be hard to enter or read things on the EFB and you always have to turn the camera to the left.

Describe the feature you'd like to see implemented A mobile App (especially for iPads) where you have the same functionality as in the in-game EFB (e.g. Ground, Map, Fuel and in the future the charts).

References Not possible. Just like the ingame EFB.

Additional context Should be possible with the SimConnect.dll. If it's too much work to do with swift/objective-c, it may be possible with a local website that displays the react-app of the EFB.

Discord username (if different from GitHub): Jonah#9224

As a workaround try holding down the Alt-Gr key and left click on the EFB.

I feel like this would be a cool idea but it completely defeats the purpose of the in game EFB being there in the first place

I would enjoy such an app as an option way down the road as well. I use my IRL iPad anyway while flying the FBW320, mounted on my desk next to my screen for charts, OFP, keeping an eye on available Vatsim ATC along my route, writing down clearances etc etc.

It would likely make a lot of sense for people building home cockpits

Not an app per se but something comparable https://github.com/flybywiresim/a32nx/issues/6978#issuecomment-1081228496
