Describe the bug

When HDR is active the lighting in the cockpit is far too dark. It is especially difficult to read the display on the FMC

Expected behavior

Lighting should be similar to non-hdr, other planes are ok.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable HDR

that's just the bad HDR implementation of MSFS itself. nothing we can do about this.

Too bad,

I thought because the other planes were ok, there is something that could be done. Being able to set brightness for the mcdu would be a big help already.

Thanks anyways.

I am a HDR user myself as well, simming on a LG C2 OLED. What i can suggest is using Special K instead of MSFS it's own HDR. https://discord.gg/specialk

It's a bit tricky to setup maybe, but the result is fantastic compared to native HDR.

I tried to use it... but it doesn't seem to work with DLSS3 / FG... so I am out of luck.

Thanks anyways. Feel free to close the report if nothing can be done. I do hope that MCDU brightness will work soon 🙂 That would help somewhat 🙂
