Performance data uplink #8667

Description

SimBrief has implemented a couple days ago the performance data calculation. It would be nice to see the UPLINK TO DATA on the MCDU pull data from SimBrief and put it down on it directly. Could also be interesting the landing perf on the EFB fetch data from them in some way. I really hope to see it (and also it isn't complicated)

Btw, is there any way I can collab with you? I have very rudimentary programming skills and none modelling knowledge...

The project is open source, you can always make a fork and mess around 😉

As far as I know in the real plane the performance data is not uplinked to the mcdu either, so I doubt it will be implemented/ approved by the Dev team.

Here you can find how to contribute https://docs.flybywiresim.com/dev-corner/dev-guide/

Ah, another thing: I think it could be nice to have like a ""alpha test"" version of the A380X so ppl can try it to accelerate the debugging work cuz it looks like you're polishing the last things of the plane seeing what you showed us on the sneak peek of a couple months ago (if there's a way to build it from the files here i don't know it)

That very off topic, but like with the A32NX there will be an alpha version, but it will only be released once you're able to do an a to b flight on Vatsim.

We have some different plans for more accurate performance data. Stay tuned.
