popup duration #255

feature to allow popup to remain until clicked (acknowledged) or better yet to 
set with number of minuets out to/or click.
Would be nice to have the notification even if I'm not looking at the screen 
during the 10 sec. pop up.
Could also be done with a menu item that accessed a list/history of 
notifications.

You need Growl for Mac or Windows, it has lots of features to manage 
notifications including keeping them on screen until click, time to keep them 
on screen and notification history.

If you use Linux, then this is duplicate of issues 202 and 221.

the problem with installing growl for windows is that you get 2 system tray 
icons which takes up more space. also, the growl icon is fugly.

You can set Windows to hide those tray icons. I know Growl for Windows icon 
won't come back like some icons do when they are "active".
