Ability to get notifications from anything on your phone #95

it would be very nice to be able to get notifications of email,google voice, 
updates, anything that would normally show up on your phones notification area.

I completely agree. Unfortunately Android doesn't give me access to that. 
There's a chance I may be able to do it for specific sources, like calendar, 
though, but each source needs a specific implementation.
