flyinghead commented 3 years ago

flycast supports .CDI, .GDI, .CHD and .CUE only.

What "ISO" are you trying to load?

tee4341 commented 3 years ago

me download from website in format .7z extract to iso.......T_T. (game need to convert?)

Assuming the problem is solved. Reopen as needed.

@flyinghead , could this format be supported? I ask because there are multiple atomiswave to DC homebrew ports released in .iso format. Would greatly appreciate if you could add support for this. As currently, I've to use another emu to run them which I rather not as I prefer using this one!

Did you try "ripping" the .iso to . cdi?

Haven't tried this. Would you happen to know any tool for doing this on android? I found some tools on GitHub for Linux. Maybe I could get those to work.

cinnamonmatexfce commented 3 years ago

I think you can work on Linux (or Windows) PC. Mount the .iso and then try ripping from that Virtual Drive.

ISO cannot be used to store dreamcast games. I haven't heard of anything being released on ISO images.

Oh sheet, you're right, my bad. It is an actual .GDI but what I mean is usually the subsequent track files are stored in .bin and .raw format. Dumped games that are in .GDI with .bin and .raw track files are seen by flycast fine. But ones in .GDI and .iso and .raw track files don't seem to be seen? (..atleast on android flycast build)
