This is a known issue. See https://github.com/libretro/flycast/issues/103
What if i tell you this game has the same issue as Force 5 rom..... it wont freeze like Force 5 but it gets fix if you change cpu mode from Dynarec to Interpreter once you get black screen...
I tested this game again with the latest build (https://github.com/flyinghead/flycast/commit/478b9a9f6897d7e9a641dfb01c0d6f4537b2bb0e) and it seems to work better. It requires a BIOS file and the DSP must be enabled. With this I was able to play normally. However this game really is a hit or miss so I'm interested in feedback.
I tested this game and found that it runs fine up through visiting two major areas (like the village and the training level,) and then the screen goes black when loading a third area (even if it's an area already visited.) I'm able to visit any area by reloading the game, so it's not a particular area causing the crashing. Might be a memory-clearing issue. (Windows version tested)

That's how it was for me some versions ago but now it consistently black screens after the "new game" intro plays or you skip it.
Overclocking to 220 seems to help the game start.
The issue doesn't occur if you use interpreter mode. Although you can't really play on a smartphone with that.
Funny enough if you load into the game with interpreter mode and then switch to Dynarec it seems to run stable without black screening when changing levels.
This issue is very similar to #1255, but is a little different in that it's not guaranteed to work. After testing all stages with loading, lowering the speed to 100MHz significantly improved the issue. However, some stages are prone to blackouts (Dinotoplis, for example), and it may take several tries before it works.
Additionally, I noticed a glitch in the split screen area in FluffMatch.
FluffMatch glitch in split-screen mode fixed in the latest dev
build
I can confirm that the split screen glitches have been fixed. Re-Volt and Toy Commander have also been fixed.
Fur Fighters (Dreamcast ) boots it goes in game but when you press start the game stops on a black screen and from there nothing happens...
Flycast: Latest Build Booting from a CHD but it also happens on GDI
