My apologies, it appears as if I have forgotten to add a network label.
With the exception of built in widescreen cheats, all cheats are disabled when online to avoid ... cheating when playing with other people. I understand this isn't the goal of the cheat you want to use but Flycast has no way to figure this out.
A patched media would work though.
Alright, thanks. I'll be talking with members and the owner of the server about this as patches were not provided for the game, and yet I have heard them join it. I might have done something wrong in the tutorial and this is not related to Flycast, or I'm simply using the wrong version. Thank you for the help, though!

Platform / OS / Hardware: PC / Windows 10 / Dell Latitude 5411: i7-10850H, 32GB DDR4, 512GB NVMe
Flycast version: v2.4
Hardware: Dell Latitude 5411: i7-10850H, 32GB DDR4, 512GB NVMe
Description of the Issue
My cheats menu somehow disappears / is disabled at a certain point of character creation / validation (the one with the moving star-like objects which is quickly followed by an access code invalid screen) in Phantasy Star Online Ver. 2, and it always says access code invalid. The cheat was designed to skip the access code requirement so that I could join a custom server.
Debugging Steps Tested
Enabling cheats from the bios, checking right before the part where they break (access code invalid screen), completely reinstalling Flycast
Logs Gathered
Screenshots (I loaded the cheat during the title screen, checked in the animated sequence right before this to find my cheats menu had been completely removed)
