Echelon intros play too fast (Retroarch) #950

I knew they were playing too fast so I compared them to a real NTSC Dreamcast and the music and graphics are all going much faster. I've tested the ones on 18 Wheeler (USA), Dead or Alive 2 LE, Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 & Tennis 2K2 and all of them are going too fast, seems to affect all Echelon intros. Also the screen on the Echelon intro for Tennis 2K2 only fills half the screen when it should fill all of it

just an update to this, NullDC & ReDream run the echelon intros at the right speed

Demul runs it too fast the same as Flycast (maybe based on similar source code)

There's no sharing of source code between Demul and Flycast. However there is some with NullDC.

Have you tried the latest dev branch build? There is a recent change related to cpu cycle counting.

thanks, just tested the latest windows dev build and the echelon intros still play too fast
