New BOM added every time the notepad text is edited #15

Looking at the script, I suppose this is semi-obvious... but I didn't know if InputText was putting the BOM in the field or not when editing. I guess it is, because git shows as many as there are times I have edited the text through the notepad skin.

Is there a way to... not do that?
