The advantage of having a dropdown terminal is that you avoid having multiple terminal windows (excluding the ones embedded in other apps), however when switching between virtual desktops (workspaces) you need a way to group (pin) tabs such that:
when you switch to a virtual desktop, the terminal tab is contextual to it, when dropdown occurs to switch to the last tab that was previously focused in that workspace.
cycle only through tabs of the current workspace, when a new tab is opened in a workspace, it is pinned to it.
Not sure if this features require some kind of support from windows terminal..
