Export option uses jnlp Applet launcher #15

In the change from Processing 1.0.9 to 1.1 the export applet option for a
sketch using OpneGL now makes use of the jnlp launcher. This seems to
provide a great improvment in the ability to view these applets in a web
browser.

Could this change also be done in Proclipsing.

Hi p.k.lager. Thanks for the suggestion. Some quick searches shows that this
type
of thing is possible from eclipse (for example:
http://help.eclipse.org/help33/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse.platform.doc.isv/gui
de/java_web_start.htm).
I need to give it a closer look, though, as I've never used it before. It's also
one thing to make it work, another thing to automate it.

Anyway, I'll let you know if I make any progress (I'll update this issue). In
the
meantime, if you want to try the procedure from the url above and let me know
if it
works and if the results are what you are expecting, it would be a great help.

Thanks,
Brian

Currently, the suggested method of using jnlp with proclipsing is to follow the
instructions in the above link. I
am labeling this issue as an enhancement request. There are no immediate plans
to add this to the proclipsing
functionality, but it is a good idea and something we will explore in the
future.
