Need to support checking for updates #4

The app needs to be able to ping this web site at start up to  see if a new 
update is available.
I haven't decided where the best place to store the version info is.
It would probably be either the list of downloads, or a raw file in SVN.
Search around to see how any other code.google.com apps check for updates.
