edit: Managed to get rid of the audio glitch by modifying the emm386 settings in c:\config.sys Under the [EMM386] setting I changed DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE AUTO 32768 ... to DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE AUTO 16384 ...
