readme has instructions on how to compile to mobi #10

just compiled to mobi

has a lot of errors on the command line though and this might be confusing to the users.

but otherwise, i have a new book to read now :+1: thanks @fmap!!

The default make recipe will build a pair of .mobi files without further direction, provided none of the intermediate steps fail.

I suspect your build was interrupted after the preprocess stage..? Your directions (1) don't result in the production of ePubs, using HTML as an intermediate compile target; (2) munge chapters from both available volumes into one file, rather than producing two separate eBooks.

Could you share the build errors you encountered? :smile:

Closing this because you're describing something other than the intended build process. Other patches w. improved documentation are of course allowed, and indeed, encouraged.

If you want help fixing your build, drop by the Hackerspace tomorrow? I'll be there from 1100 or so, I think we're doing a small-sample Arch install fest.. :smile:
