I have try to sync with afterlogic which use sabre/dav but it can sync only imapBackend. If I switch to combine imap will error.

Anyone have success please advice.

Put your logs into wbxml level and look for some hint there. Also, use the files in testing folder to check your configuration for afterlogic.
