altitude 0 or null value #1382

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. record a track with MyTracks
2. view graph or export

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In graph I see the green line at 0 and if I export the track in csv or other
format all rows have null altitude. Other applications show the right altitude
so it is not a gps problem.

What version of MyTracks are you using? On what version of Android? On what
phone?
I am using MyTracks 2.0.5 on andoid 2.3.3 (LG Optimus One). Previous versions
of MyTracks have not this problem.

Please provide any additional information here:
I have seen a similar problem in issue 1355 (but in this issue only first rows
have null altitude), so I try with wireless network disabled, but there is no
difference.

Thanks a lot.

altitude data is noisy, so in the chart, we show the smoothed average over the
last 25 reading. So in the beginning, the data will be zero. When we export to
csv, we display the actual altitude data.

Thank you for you reply. My problem is that altitute is 0 not only in the
beginning but also after I stopped the tracks I see 0 in graph and also in csv
export. After a session of 1 or 2 hours I see all altitudes with 0 value. This
problem appear only with the last version (august) of MyTracks. I think this is
not a gps problem because other apps show a correct altitude value.
Thanks
