Automatic activity detection selects walking instead of running

I have the default activity type set to running, but a recent update introduced 
automatic activity detection which seems to override my default activity with 
walking. This means now I always have to manually change "walking" to 
"running", whereas before this update my default activity was always selected.

To reproduce:
1. Set default activity to "running"
2. Go for a run
3. Stop recording
4. Notice the activity type is set to "walking" instead of "running"

I expect the type to be running because that is what the default activity is 
set to. This may be fixed by having an option to simply turn off automatic 
activity detection.

This happens using My Tracks version 2.0.5 on both Nexus 4 (Android 4.3) and 
HTC Desire S (Android 2.3.5)
