GPS drops when phone locks #1510

WHat steps will reproduce the problem?
1.When u press the lock button, MyTracks stops recording GPS
2.when the phone automatically locks, MyTracks stops recording GPS
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
MyTracks should record GPS location even when the phone locks. 

What version of MyTracks are you using? On what version of Android? On what
phone?

If possible please provide a log by uploading here.

I have the same issue on my Xperia Z2.
It does however wake up from time to time and take readings, so from 1h walking 
maybe 20min is moving (GPS on) and the rest if standing still (presumably GPS 
off).

Can add as well that if I have the Sony SmartBand connected it does not stop 
recording...

I have the same problem with a Galaxy S5 and My Tracks v2.0.7.
The phone doesn´t seem to be the problem. Tracking with outdooractive mobile 
works without any problems, irrespective whether the display sleeps or not.

This sounds like a OS bug. Phone lock should not stop the recording service 
running on the background. This is not something we can fix.
