PLEASE search for previous similar feature requests before filing one.

Please describe what your requested feature would do, how it would work,
etc:

Ability to choose between kmz and kml for tracks uploaded to Google drive. This
will make it a lot easier to import tracks into google maps pro.

Currently if I want to merge my tracks into a map with all my runs I have to:
1. Save the run
2. Export it to maps engine.
3. Open a browser and open the exported run.
4. Export the run as kml
5. open my main map in a browser
6. add a layer
7. import kml from hdd.

It would be great to:
1. aqdd layer
2. import and choose the google drive tab

If you're a developer, are you willing to implement this yourself? (you
probably still want to let us know so we can discuss how it'll work and
whether we believe it's a good feature to be merged into the main mytracks
distribution)

Thanks for the input. We have been considering the feature of allowing
exporting a track to an existing My Maps. However, My Maps has a size
limitation due to Javascript performance, thus cannot have too many tracks
merged into one My Maps.

kml and kmz are different. E.g., no tour info and no photo markers in kml. Thus
we also need to consider the drawbacks of offering too many export options.

I guess I should put a feature request into maps engine.

The other option is to be able to continue a previous map. I had thought about
pausing each map. I also hadn't checked if it was possible to export a paused
map. I could then just export a few runs at a time.

There definitely should be a bit more conformity between related apps from the
same developer :)
