Does it violate privacy regulations to be providing the names of the Releve author's in a database? I would expect their permission would be required.

In most cases, plots come from published sources, so my feeling is that there's no break in privacy by reporting the author names. When this is not true, I still think it is correct to give credit to plot's authors, but I don't know whether this represent a privacy break. If this is the case, I only see two ways out: 1) delete the field altogether (Bob Peet and Brian Enquist were particularly keen on having it, though) 2) ask all custodians (groan!)
