pulse audio output error: overflow, flushing

I finally figured out that when using the addon, the speakers must be connected to the server, I had assumed I could route the audio to any media player.

I installed it on a RPi 3b+ and got it to work, but after adding a 3rd theme (audio layer), I get spammed with

[0000007f6c114c80] pulse audio output error: overflow, flushing

and the audio fails.

This seems to happen whenever I add a 3rd layer.

Hmm. I've not seen this before, and don't have a Pi 3 to test on. It's possible it's some hardware/driver limitation. Could you give a few more details?

• More context around the error message. You can set logging: DEBUG in your config.yml.
• Details of your sound device(s). How many are there? Does it happen with one/some of them in particular?
• How consistent is it? Always on enabling the third Theme?
• What file formats/bitrates are you using?

Edit: I've tested on a Pi Zero 2W (which has fairly similar specs to a Pi 3) and was able to enable 5+ Themes without any issues, using a single CM108 USB Adapter.
