Exclude posts with negative score #55

When the top rated post in a community is negative, we should probably not post it.

Did this happen somewhere? Also maybe an exclusion of ANY negative posts would be good? Wouldn't be a good idea to suck in spam from unmoderated little active communities.

My question was about the top post being negative but this one negative example is also useful. It's not a bad post but it got downvoted because it was posted to at least 6 other communities in a row.

The post got deleted by the OP because there's nothing about it being deleted in the modlog. And now I'm getting sidetracked but the question of privacy comes to mind. We should probably have some communities excluded where there's a higher chance of sensitive info being posted. I wish we could just hotlink the posts and have the sensitive info go down together with posts on deletion but it will stay a wish. :p

So now my thoughts about this example, the post itself is fine but we still need to handle spam to keep it clean. Can we easily hook up monthly posts into the matrix bridge or would that require a new solution? It would be great to get notifications of monthly posts including negative posts in them and handle this stuff manually. Or we could simply pay better attention to those posts ourselves but I don't have energy to keep an eye on them constantly.

Though the negative score post exclusion is something that would just work and require no maintenance/moderation and access to the directory account. Now that I'm at the end of text wall I think I'd actually prefer this solution over the matrix bridge so I vote on that.
