Speed up button press animation? #90

I noticed that the button press animation is quite slow, might give the impression to the user that it is "lagging" even though it is not

I don't really think it looks like lagging, but I could be wrong.

Has anyone else reported issues on the length ? Let's ask around. Ask them "What do you think of the animations?" And if majority say it's too slow or laggy or jittery, we shall shorten it out

No feedback, just a personal observation But you're right, asking around will give us better data pool

Also, my logic is that the feedback for pressing the buttons is fast (so they feel responsive).

The feedback for releasing the button is slow, so the last pressed button is more visible in their peripheral vision for a bit.

After a few days of close attention, I have to say I agree with you now. I reduced the speed to half (300ms) and it feels much better :smile:
