Can you tell me what happens if you drag the .ogv you made into the Firefox browser?

jmichae3 commented 10 years ago

same thing. flashing alternating white pixels on green background.

Hmmmm. Can you tell me the settings you're using, especially frame size, etc? Even better if you can send a project with footage, or some other way I can reproduce.

jmichae3 commented 10 years ago

640x480. it's not a project, I am doing this with the media encoder.

Hmmm, I just did a test out of Media Encoder CS5 on Mac and it worked as expected. I did 640x480, 29.97 fps, Constant bitrate of 500.

Maybe if I could get your footage?

https://www.dropbox.com/s/iz4vx47vr92mdyi/INTN2240.AVI it's probably mjpeg format, no audio with this, and nothing I try works. I have both WMP and later VLC installed.

All right, I was able to duplicate the problem and fix it. Seems to be unique to Media Encoder CS5; CS6 didn't have an issue. Posted a new beta and updated the links in the ReadMe.
