Exporter Not Found? #55

Open kelsilynstar opened 6 years ago

I swear, I must be missing something. I spent a solid hour or two googling and reading every issue on this GitHub and still finding no resolution.

I just downloaded this project from your website. I install it, even made it accessible for everyone (though I'm the only account). Whether I try to import one by one through Adobe Media Encoder (CS6, Windows) or put all of them into the folder myself, WebM is not an encoding option, and when I try to import, the error I get is "Preset could not be imported. No exporter found for this preset."

None of the folders in what I have installed have any kind of "package" or executable for the exporter. I'm genuinely at a loss and about to pull my hair out. I've tried reinstalling several times, but I feel like something is missing.

What am I doing wrong?

Windows 10 Adobe After Effects/Premiere/Media Encoder CS6 Need WebM for alpha transparency encoding

Thanks in advance!

Did you follow the instructions in the Presets.txt?

Presets for Premiere and Media Encoder

These are WebM presets for Media Encoder and Premiere.

Probably the easiest way to get them into their respective programs is simply to import them one at a time. In the output settings dialog next to the Preset menu you'll find a button for importing presets.

Alternately, you can copy the entire 5765624D_5765624D folder into the presets folder for each version of the applications you have installed. For Mac and Windows these folders would typically wind up at locations like these:

Mac: /Applications/Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014/Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014.app/MediaIO/systempresets/5765624D_5765624D /Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014/Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.app/MediaIO/systempresets/5765624D_5765624D

(Right click on the application icon and select Show Package Contents to access the MediaIO folder.)

Win: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014\MediaIO\systempresets\ 5765624D_5765624D C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014\MediaIO\systempresets\ 5765624D_5765624D

Presets in the "normal" folder can be used in any version of the Adobe programs, while the "match_source" presets should only be used in CC 2015 and later.

@DanMossa

I'm having this same issue as @kelsilynstar. Copying the folder to both Media Encoder and Premiere Pro "MediaIO\systempresets" folder, they presets aren't an option for exporting. I've tried manually importing the preset and get "Preset could not be imported. No exporter found for this preset."

What is the correct way to get this working?

Holy hell. You're right.

This was working for me the whole time, and then I updated the premier and now no more :(

Any updates on this? I'm having to resort to using third party mp4 to webm convertor but exports from those don't play on iOS...
