Request: stand-alone BSA manager #19

FOMM's BSA manager is superior to any other stand-alone BSA manager I have tried. The BSA Browser is close, but it lacks a filter tool.

The problem though is that FOMM appears to require FO3 or NV to be installed in order to function. I installed FO3 with Steam, and FOMM worked fine. After uninstalling the game, I am prompted to point the program to the FO3 directory again. Choosing the directory will loop back to the same dialog- I haven't looked at the source on this, but my guess is that it looks for the executable and throws an error if it's not found. I don't want to leave it installed because my disk space is quite limited at the moment.

At any rate, I think a stand-alone BSA tool would be really beneficial to other modding communities.

I actually had the same idea and created a stand-alone version long ago. I also added a few new features like the ability to open multiple BSAs, recent files & auto-extract.

I'll look into releasing it. Didn't realize it was a demand for it.

EDIT: Alright, it's done. BSA Browser. An installer is on that page, it will associate itself with .bsa files automatically. Check the main page for the readme. Feedback is welcome. :)
