With regards to the IG Add Action plugin with the option to save the Primary Key to an Item (which is great!), how about adding an option allowing the button to be in one IG region, i.e. the detail IG, but retrieve the key value from the Master IG region? For example master region of people, detail region of addresses, objective: Add Address Action Menu option in Address region, retrieve person ID from person region so you know who to add the address for.
