new release for PHP7 #16

The last release is from 2014 and there have been a number of commits since. Can someone package a release that works with PHP7?

I'd love to do a new release... time permitting. I'd like to get the documentation nailed down a little bit. I'm open to some help getting the README in a more usable shape. After that a new release is easy.
