I thought of it like that: The server reloads the map, but the clients stay connected on the old map and dont disconnect. Once they reconnect, or walk through a "update map" tile, they will download the new map and stay at the same position as before, like a map change.
Could also think about automatically sending the new map once a tee goes into an area, that has changed, for example if a new room has been made.
