When I connect the rig, which was previously scanning memory channels, it sets it into VFO mode at static frequency. I then have to walk over to the radio to set it back to mem scanning. It does this with both netrigctl, and serial connections. I understand that this might be a logical step if you want to control the frequency using QLog, but if you normally leave the radio scanning, it's an inconvenience (or an unwanted 'feature') when you connect QLog. If I hear a call that I want to reply to, I simply key up and the radio will stop scanning and remain static, so I don't need VFO mode setting automatically at connect-time. Could this be made optional, in this outstanding software, please?
