Describe the bug
using "ctrl-r -" inserts extra character
Steps To Reproduce
in a new buffer, insert two words
In normal mode, enter the key combination: 0c2w\<ctrl-r>-
the two words are prefixed with an extra character (in my case, "2")
Expected Behavior
buffer should contain the same two words as typed
