Please can we panelize book pages? #152

I'd like to re-arrange the layout of the standard book pages as the line length is unreadable for long copy.

Am I right in thinking I just need to set up Book pages to be "Full page override" on the Panelizer listing page? If so, I will save that and carry on but I need you to confirm that this is the right approach then re-assign to me.

This is a bit messy currently, but yes, we could. The content pages so far are the Panopoly "Content page". We could use book page, but you can equally build a book around other content types.

Ah, so you're saying I need to leave Book alone and just edit the Full page override for "Content page" instead?

I just changed the layout of the Panopoly "Content page" but nothing has changed.

I'm re-assigning this to you to double-check that the About page is styled by the "Content page" layout.

If it is, I think I need some support with Panelizer because I can't work out how to change page layouts.

If it's not, please can you re-assign this to me and let me know which page type it is set to?

Also, if there's any way of being able to tell which page is being built by which layout, that would be enormously helpful – I can't see any way in the Panelizer interface that displays this information and, without it, the task of identifying page layouts is pretty much impossible.

I just took a look at the /About page and discovered something – you'd locally overridden the layout to include the left-hand Book menu on that page which meant I wasn't seeing my changes to the default layout.

Naughty!

So I reverted the page to the default layout. But now I've got this layout displaying, which unfortunately means the lefthand navigation menu has been deleted. I am going to attempt to replace it but might need your help.

You got me :) I did actually override those, cos they are just a few content pages, so was looking for a shortcut. We could try to sort it properly...
