To add in the likes symbol so people can express approval or disapproval on any news story, comment, event, service or forum post. It gives an extra degree of feedback about issues. ideally likes would also affect the "whats hot" section and allow things to bubble up that people think are important.

Are you thinking 5 star widget or just a "like" flag?

be good to have the 5 stars for services. Maybe just like, dislike for comments/news/posts.

I did try 5 star in #418, but panels doesnt support it properly, so tough to implement currently.

do you think it is achievable - the star rating system? If not can we go with likes/dislikes?
