[FR] dont require ruby-gettext when no translation is selected #186

i had asked about this in the AUR, thought id request this here too. it
would be very handy if ruby-gettext was only needed when a translation was
selected.

I guess most people don't care for the size of rubyripper. To do this you 
should have to 
override the gettext fuctions. I'd gladly accept the patch and make it work.

Guess what? I've fixed your request. A search on google showed another project 
which had 
already solved the issue. A small change all over the place was necessary, but 
hey: 
customer is king or what? ;)
