What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install rubyripper v0.5.2 (german) (on gentoo?)
2. start rrip_gui
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
If you start the rrip_gui I get a error message:
"Cdrom drive sr0 does not exist on your system! Please configure your cdrom
drive first" (with a german translation... see bug 222)
But if a change the path /dev/cdrom to /dev/sr0 in the settings and click
back to "Diskinfo" rubiripper find it and read my cd. If I change back to
/dev/cdrom and reread the cdrom I have no problems except I restart the
gui. Then I have the same message again (except I have /dev/sr0 in the
settings)
A link /dev/cdrom -> /dev/sr0 does exist!
What version of rubyripper are you using? On what operating system? Are you
using the gtk2 or the commandline interface?
v0.5.2 on gentoo, gtk
