Discrepancy between dose grid and structure set/CT #46

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Using Eclipse 8.2 TPS
2.In TPS, contour an isodose level and a target on the CT
3.Import into dicompyler

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected isodose level and contours to be aligned. CT is aligned with
structure sets, but small discrepancy (~2mm to patient's right and ~2mm to
patient's anterior side) shifted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
dicompyler-0.4a2.tgz
windows 7 64-bit

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi Landon,

Thank you for submitting this. Do you think it is the structure set that needs
to be shifted or the isodose lines?

I have noticed this on Pinnacle plans as well but I think it needs to be
shifted the other direction.

Can anyone else verify this?

You can't see the phantom surface in the picture (it was manually assigned a HU
density in the TPS; a future addition to Dicompyler?) but it matched the x and
y dimensions of known size of the cube to within 1 pixel, if I understand that
the image center (or isocenter, user origin?) corresponds to 0,0.

I would also be interested to see what Cyberknife, Brainlab, etc would show
here.

Thanks
