Suggestion: video tutorial on Incremental Reading #51

Namely: How do you personally use it? What other ways do you use?

I have a hard time figuring out a workflow.

There is a short section on the add-on page. It is already outdated in parts though. But it should give a general idea. Maybe I will do some video one day, but atm, the queue system is likely to change, and I haven't figured out the perfect workflow for myself yet, so it would not make sense to do a tutorial now.

I struggled with having some days where I just have to read stuff from a certain topic, so many of the items in the queue would be skipped (meaning simply put at the end).

So now I use a tag-based system, which means I got tags like: topic1::unread topic1::read topic2::unread topic2::read In the "Queue Manager" dialog I can then simply build a queue with the notes for the topic I want to study on the given day, by selecting the "topic::unread" tag.

Thank you! 🙂

BTW, you've probably heard about it but I'm referencing it for everybody: https://github.com/burtonator/polar-bookshelf is a PDF reader and manager with Anki integration. They are developing their incremental reading feature further. Right now, you can 1. mark areas you've read and 2. create Anki notes.
