I have an image for which printi always fails in a consistent way:

Damn. Turns out, on another printi, it works fine. I'm at a loss here :(

Another data point here, looks maybe similar to @leonhandreke 's issue. This picture is also repeatably corrupt on our printi: cat2.jpg cat2

Picture of 2 error types:

Behavior:

First print of cat2.jpg prints shorter error, after which EVERY print is corrupt, with the longer error, until the printi is restarted.

Example after turning printi off, back on, then printing cat2.jpg:
