Font Upload removed? #42

Has the font upload feature been removed? That was the best feature of them all. I am desperately looking for an open font subsetter to create a really compact custom icon font (created from free icons webfonts).

Any advise greatly appreciated.

We had a lack of time to do it right for new rendering & building system. You can always download old 0.0.1 version, and run it in your browser https://github.com/fontello/fontello/tags from local disk .

Can you tell me, wich fonts do you need to import? I expected, that fontello already includes all best open iconic fonts. Correct me, if i missed something.

Thanks for the tip, that seems like a great solution.

However, I just tried to run the app locally in Chrome (Mac), but the font upload does not seem to work. Does the app need to be on a web server i.e. PHP or such needed?

Ahhh... chrome has limits on local fs, if run without special key. Try in firefox, it should be ok. Or run sources via local webserver, and chrome will be ok too.

About fonts - i know both. Modern pictograms looks not enougth "modern". And SM pack has very restrictive licence, i think, that Brandico will be better alternative soon. Anyway, you know better than me, wich fonts you need :) . If there will be a lot of such requests, i'll increase priority of "importing" feature.

Right now, i hope, that local 0.0.1 version will solve your needs.
