JP translation update in Chapters 6 & 9. #254

Chapter 6: Remained English texts are translated (lines 25 - 29).

Chapter 9: Tried to adjust the font size in the indented section (currently the fonts are shown too large compared to the header/text lines as below:) .

9_font_size_to_large

Indentation (>) in the .md file is changed from '>>>' to '>' (from three to one indentation). If this works OK, the similar issues in other chapters will be also corrected.

Glad to see you found some information to update. I needed to take a break on this due to other things that needed attention. I just need to complete them a little further, and eventually I'll come back to going through the rest of the pages in desighn with FontForge.

I see what you mean, however, this really comes down to how many pixels wide and high is the display you are using. If you have an older monitor that has a smaller number of pixels wide/high, then yes, it will look large, however, if you have a modern computer display, for example 4K displays, the text will look very small - perhaps even too small. Here is an example 320x240pixel computer display vs a 4k display, where a 16x16pixel sized square is large, vs one that is hardly visible. pixel_differences The problem is in the css files where it shows px (pixels), which need to be changed to another system, maybe pt (points). Here are two files that need fixing, print.css and stylesheet.css

Indentation (>) in the .md file is changed from '>>>' to '>' (from three to one indentation). If this works OK, the similar issues in other chapters will be also corrected.

Hi @JoesCat san;

Thank you, always, for your prompt advice. Please "have a break" on this matter as much as you need. I will do what I can little by little as there are no urgent issues on my side:

1) .CSS files: I looked (or rather "glanced") into the files and found them to be too complicated and risky for me to amend them (it may affect the other languages). Instead I will make following changes.

2) About the indentation in .md file, I found those ">" marks are converted into

tags in the actual .html files. So, I decided to change the ">" indentation to other HTML tags. In the other section of my Japanese translation, I have already used
or

tags and it realize the texts with the normal size fonts. So I will check through all my translated .md files and replace the ">" indentations to

tags. When I finish my checks, I will issue a new PULL request.

So until then, enjoy your higher priority matters.
