Just starting Librera FD, a directory Librera/ is dropped in the base directory. Its contents seem to be mostly app-specific files.
In modern Android systems, the system provides special directories for such purposes. I'm talking about the app-specific storage as in https://developer.android.com/training/data-storage
There may be reasons to write files at the user's request. For that purpose, sure, a Librera/ directory might be appropriate. But I see no reason to pollute the user's main directory with app-specific files.
