Android restricts to browse the root file, you can browse the Download folder
I do can browse those other folders, but I cannot add them to the LIBRARY section for scan:
"Incorrect Value" message is shortly shown at the bottom, and the "Folders to Scan" didn't get the the new directory
Whatever I try to select, the "Folders to Scan" always reset to ONLY /storage/emulated/0
It is to be noted that I still get "Incorrect Value" if I pick the Memory/Download folder you suggested. Would it not make more sense for me to close this ticket, being the one who opened it ? :)
I think this issue should be reopened. My download folder does contain files but they are not seen by librera
According to the screenshot maybe your path is (Downloads no Download) /storage/emulated/0/Downloads
Please try to edit the folder path (Long click on Download segment) and then appear dialog, change to Downloads
I don't know what happened but the problem is fixed. I didn't change anything but now the library is full of files! It could have been an upgrade or it could have been due to me going to app permission and disabling file access and enabling it again. Thanks a lot for your getting back to me!
The working version is Librera FD 8.9.158-fdroid
On a BOOX device (PadMuLUMI2 with Android 11) Librera seems unable to scan/find file on the device. This problem is not present on Android smartphone.
This is the "root" folder (tapping the left-arrow does not move from here):
