Crash when opening epub file #561

When I open an epub file, I get a segfault in mupdf (which shouldn't even be loaded for epub files).

Instructions:

Download http://epubtest.org/books/Fundamental-Accessibility-Tests-Basic-Functionality-v1.0.0.epub
Open in Librera.

Result:

After I pick a pagination mode, Librera displays Page 1 instead of document contents, then crashes.

Logcat shows that the segfault is in mupdf, which shouldn't even be loaded for epub files? logcat.txt

Librera Pro 8.2.29-fdroid, Android 8.1.0, Moto G5 plus.

For the last couple of releases I've been getting immediate crashes when I ry to open any epub doc in scroll mode. Paged mode works fine. Also crashes when changing already openned epub to scroll mode. Is this related or does it ned its own ticket?

Something similar happens to me, I use scroll mode with custom font size and with epub:

Librera PRO 8.2.43 Fdroid: Works but then crashes past some point in the file, then crashes instantly why I reopen it. Librera PRO 8.2.29 Fdroid: Crashes instantly while opening an epub (no verified if is actually the same as 8.2.43) Librera PRO 8.2.11 Fdroid: It works OK

Using Librera Betar-8.3.6-arm.apk with no issues openning scroll or page mode, or toggling between modes. Only the normal not fast enough / jittery scrolling moans :-)

I've just tried 8.3.112 (beta-111) on my favourite book. Librera did not crash but show nothing at all. Please test on this file The_7_Habits_of_Highly_Effectiv(z-lib.org).epub.zip
