how to show extra article info in member ordering

It would be nice to show extra article info in the member ordering screen. Upstream has a box at the bottom of the screen (which breaks mobile though). Currently, foodcoop-adam hides this extra information, but in the future we'd like to show a description and image, at the very least.

How can we show extra information properly?

• Popup information when hovering the mouse over an article row.
  • in a (fixed?) bottom area (like upstream)
  • left (e.g. on top of the category browser)
  • as a popover
  • as an expanding table row, like A or B (though those are on click)
• Popup information when clicking on the article row (same options as above).
• Popup modal dialog (see "live demo" button)
• other ideas ... ?
